I have tried to change my base plan to 45 $ per month cause I only have 50 In my account so I can’t afford the 55$base plan

You can manually add another $5 to your $50 account balance first, then switch to the $55 baseplan if that's what you want to do. But then you'll have to come up with $55 every month thereafter or else back off on your baseplan.

Seems to me it might be cheaper to go on a monthly post-paid plan if you are going to be using data regularly. Check with a Koodo point of sale to be sure that your $$$ prepaid account balance can be transferred to your new postpaid account. Any minutes or data remaining will disappear, so make the switch while your balances are low. Plan prices are dependent on your passing a credit check and vary according to you province of residence.
