  1. Sign in your iCloud account using Apple ID.
  2. Click on the Find My iPhone button.
  3. Choose Locate an iPhone device if you have set up more than one iOS device.
  4. Your lost/stolen iPhone's location will show on the map if your device is online.

If you're going to do this make sure you haven't listed your device as lost or stolen through Self serve because this will stop functioning if you do. Reporting a Device as lost or stolen deactivates your sim card and places your device on a lost stolen database. It can iT be used until you remove it from that data base.

Also be aware that until you do report it lost or stolen, you are responsible for any charges which a finder may rack up.

Find My iPhone only works if you have data enabled or it's connected to Wifi.  Just FYI

I don't know why, but Apple Find my phone is not as accurate, as the Goodo method.
Google puts my phone, right on my property.
Apple puts my phone on 400 north bound, on ramp.
Why the 1/2 mile difference?

Apple puts my computer and phone in my house, but my iPad across the street at the neighbours. I'm guessing the Wi-Fi signal from the neighbour is sufficiently strong when the iPad is in the bedroom, that it is catalogued as being there, not here.

So is there a difference in signal quality between GPS data usage VS wifi signal?
