From your wording it makes me wonder if you've lost your phone and if you have know before you bother calling Koodo's protection plan doesn't include lost or stolen phones. If I'm taking the wording wrong then forgive me.

I pay a monthly fee of $9 in case of any kind of damage done to the phone. Ex: cracked screen or drop it in water, i was told i could have the phone replaced for about $130
