I have been a loyal Koodo customer for several years but I want to tell you I am angry beyond belief at the outrageous charges with my last bill for roaming. This is a total rip off of honest Canadians and I intend to contact the CRTC about the way you abuse your customers
Were you using your phone while outside of Canada? If so, you were roaming and the charges are legitimate. If you were within Canada but close to the border, then your phone connected to a US tower. This is called accidental roaming and Koodo will credit any changes resulting from it, but you need to call them and let them know this is what happened before they will do so. As far as they can see, the phone was in the US. Nobody is deliberately trying to rip you off.
