I have a telus phone but with a rogers plan. can I keep my rogers number to go on koodo prepaid. or better yet can I port my old landline as it still shows avaiable. as with everyone I want an easy number as it is for business.

Yes if your phone is already unlocked (or in this case a Telus device) then you can use it on Koodo and port your number over just get a koodo prepaid SIM that fits your phones and activate it and you can port the number over during activation.

If it is a rogers phone, the phone will need to be unlocked before it can be used with Koodo.

Here is more info about porting your number

My understanding is the phone number is yours.  No matter who you are with.  Customer Service (any company) may try to fight your request but it is a CRTC law that you can take your phone number with you. I have a friend who is now in BC with a NE Ont. number.
