If the only issue with data you are experiencing is not being able to send out email out of your hotmail account, you should contact Microsoft customer support. If you receive them, and have no other issues with data (browsing the web, skype, etc.) then the issue would not be on Koodo's end.
I have similar problem. I can receive but can not send emails. I don't have data but can surf the net (ie. google) using WiFi. Koodo responds to you "not us" causing the problem (not helpful). Can anyone suggest what the problem is and what to do about it? Sounds like this is a common problem.
