I checked the specs online... apparently it's a dual SIM phone and one of the slots has the 850/1900 frequencies required for 3G for the major Canadian carriers, including Koodo. Try putting your SIM in the other slot and test it again.

Also make sure airplane mode isn't on and you have 3G enabled on the slots.

Have you also tried pulling the battery and sim for a few mins and try again.

Has this phone ever connected to Koodo?

Koodo uses 3G HSPA+ 850/1900

Looks like there are 2 models for this phone (1 will work with Koodo and the other one will not).

Is the phone unlocked? When you switch your network from automatic to manual, which carriers show up?

According to bijoy, only the first sim slot is 3G and the second slot is 2G only.

Try manual scanning with the sim in the first slot. Does it say Rogers 2G still?
If so then I dont believe your phone has the signal to work with the 3G network
