The promo is 5 a month for 12 months. If you double check your bill on page 3 to see that you are no longer getting the discount and it is 20 regular, and you got it in December 2017, you'll have to send a private message to Koodo via Facebook Messenger or DM via Twitter to get it sorted out. Let us know if there are further issues

Don’t I have like 6 more months of $5.00... and don’t you think $20.00 is a little much for a house phone that people don’t use anymore?

AFAIK, the original deal was for $20 a month, with months 2-13 getting a $15 credit, so ending up at $5. It was in the fine print. Good to have your legal spectacles on when cheking out any phone offer.
If $20 is too much, you can always cancel, and spare a thought for those still paying 2 or 3 times as much for hard-wired landlines, Canadian long distance and installation.
Check with the mothership as Goran suggested to get your account adjusted. When offers change, it been know to happen that some pre-existing accounts get affected.

$5.00 + the equipment that we had to buy... them a fine print for $20 after 1 year. I’ve been a great customers with you guys. If I cancels this I might has well cancel everything else.

You know you are simply talking to other customers here? This is a forum like tripadvisor and things like that. You need to talk to a koodo rep to get your bill looked at. That said, $20 is less than half the price bell was charging us for a home phone before we switched.

Do what works best for you. As Bob said it's quite a bit cheaper than regular hardline phone services, so that won't help you to not pay 20 a month once the promo ends.

Is this for the phone number ending in 41, Joey?
If so, I see the discount on this months bill (check page 5 of your bill, which explains the wireless home phone charges.) It also states beside the discount that it's valid for 12 months. The $20/mth regular charge is also outlined on your service agreement, if not explained at the time of activation - which it should have been.

Your bill is higher this month however, due to roaming charges incurred by the line ending in 26. You can also review these details on your bill, by logging into Self Serve here.
