Can you access your email via webmail? I'm inclined to think it's a fake. Question is, if this is an mms, why is what you have indicated as koodo .... telus.com an email address? It could be it was misdirected and not meant for you.

What is the intention of Koodo in sending these?

To contact you about important issues about your account?

It was said to be sent from their payment services team so in this case it was probably a notification that their bill was ready.

@ Allan it's sent when you're past due and need to pay to avoid getting your services cut off

I keep getting them also curious why not just send an email not a text I took a screen shot since it keeps trying to immediately download as soon as you look at the text

Because they have certainty that the phone number to which they sent the text is active, and attached to the account in question. It is also a more secure means to send information than an email, which may have privacy restrictions associated with it.

BTW, you should respond to these particular inquiries.
