I wish to upgrade my current tab to $40/ month to get 500 mb (currently have 300 mb) but am not able to do so on the Koodo site....why?  I have my own phone which is a Nexus 4, android.

What plans do you see when you log in to self serve?

Only see tabs if I am also paying for a phone.  Bought my phone out right and got the $39/month plan for 300 mb.  I wish to do the $40 plan which I can open for the details but when I click on "get this" nothing happens.

Can you show a screen shot what happens when you are logged in and you click on "view rateplan" Peggy?

I went back to the tab plans and scrolled further into the page and ended up clicking on "view tab plan changes" .  I was able to pick the $40 tab plan but it came back with a message that I have to agree on but didn't as I don't understand what it means.
Changes to your agreement
I agree that with the new plans I don't earn positive Tab or get a 10% discount on my plan.

If you're on the old tab system, you'll likely have to call in to 866-99-KOODO for the plan change (given that you were unable to change it yourself, they'd waive the $10 fee), or message Koodo on facebook or twitter.

I went back to the tab plans and went further down the page and clicked on the view plan changes and it came up with the same info on the sheet I got from the Koodo kiosk.  When I picked the $40 tab it went to another page and gave me this:  Changes to your agreement
I agree that with the new plans I don't earn positive Tab or get a 10% discount on my plan.
What does this mean?

Ok, still confused as I paid the $300 or $400 for the Nexus 4 with Koodo upfront which is now 2 or 3 years ago.  I then picked the tab plan I wanted.  With doing that I believe that is how I got the 10% discount for each month.  I did not find where I have a positive tab balance under self serve, showed that I have a classic tab type with 0 balance.

At the time you would have had the choice to either accumulate a positive tab balance or receive a 10% discount on the price of your monthly plan. Switching to a current plan means that you will no longer get the 10% discount. The listed price of the plan is what you will pay.

Ok that makes sense now and thanks so much for your help!

Timo is correct folks. As Peggy mentioned she has no positive tab balance just the 10% off discount.

@Bernard thank you for confirming. This also de-mystifies the positive tab balance accumulation vs. the 10% discount on BYOD plans under the old tab system. Thank you!
