I currently live in Halifax, but I want a phone number with an Ottawa Area Code. Is that possible and whats the extra cost.

There is no cost if you change your phone number from your self serve acount

Customers in NL, NS, PEI and NB cannot change their phone number to another province online, they have to call Koodo.

That being said they will require a Ontario address in order to issue.a Ontario number and you would need to be a resident of Ontario.

If that is indeed the case, the OP could look to a VoIP service to obtain an inexpensive Ontario number, which would transfer the call to the phone in Halifax for a few pennies. In this fashion one of the phone numbers would be local to callers from both Halifax and Ontario.
