I closed my account, why isn't it closed?

I shut down my account months ago but I'm still getting e-mails and still have an account. My balance is $0.00 but I'm wondering if this is something I should be worried about?

You don't have to be worried as long as it reads 0. Sometimes there's a delay in the emails being stopped.

Something similar happened to me:
I open an account, the next day I closed it up, cause the signal didn't work in my phone so I went to the shop and the seller soppose to call in my name to close it.
I'm receiving emails in order to pay...
What does it mean? Didn't the seller close it?
I hope is a confussion, otherwise, I think it's so mean from the part of the seller.
