Data needs to be enabled for MMS to work. MMS data wont be charged, but any Background data used may incur data charges

Hi Wendy,

If you are having issues with just simple text messages, check and make sure you are running the latest software version available for your phone. If that does not solve it, turn the phone off and remove it's SIM card for about a minute or two, then put the SIM card back and turn the phone on, see if that solves it.

As Dennis said, if you are having issues for MMS, your data must be turned on the be able to receive and/or send the text messages.

If all this fails to solve the issue for you, contact Koodo from another phone than the one you are having issues with (1 (866) 995-6636) and speak with a representative to get this issue solved.
