last year we had a plan while in the US that covered 30 days and I \think it was about $40. All I see now is a $7 / day and a $100 limit. Is that the only option now?

Yes, for short-term travel to the USA, Easy Roam is the only option, other than pay-per-use rates.

That pretty bad. It's costing me $60 more for the same service I had in 2017. That's hardly choosing happy. Very frustrated that we can get taken advantage of this much in this country.

Big big problem is that Koodo service does not read our messages !!!!!! Should find a way to better communicate with your customers - Will quit service soon for sure

i purchased my USA 14 roeming on July 2, 2018. I wrote a few messages to Koodo box this afternoon and was obviously responded by machine that could not figure out what I was talking about. Will  to speak to a human being on my return to Canada in mid July.

@Christian: the bot is of course not a human. It wasn't a live chat with an agent. It can help you to do certain things only.

You could write an email to them though. There are several options here: https://www.koodomobile.com/contact-us
btw, are you a prepaid customer? you purchased USA roaming? was there any problem?

What's USA 14 roaming? How did you purchase this?

All the carriers seem to have migrated to the per diem model. At least you are using your Cdn allotment of minutes and data. Take a look at some alternatives:

I spend time bouncing back and forth between Canada and the US, but am a light user. In my case, going prepaid made the most sense since the bundles never expire and there's no daily charge. Never have to worry about whether answering a call is going to cost $7 or more.

You do have the option of the old 45 dollar add-on for more than one month at a time but you must speak with a rep to have it added. If you only need it for one month then it won't be a viable option. I'd go with the above recommendations otherwise and personally prefer local Sims as the Mobilesyrup link Bob provided give info on.
