I can't access my voicemail

I have a Samsung Galaxy S7. All of a sudden, when I try to check my voicemail, it just goes silent and there aren't any prompts. Any idea how to fix this? I already tried restarting my phone and it didn't help.

What happens when you call your voicemail from a landline (just call your own number and ignore call, then press the * key)
What happens when you make other calls on your cell?

It does the same thing, just goes silent. Outgoing calls work fine. My phone keeps lighting up telling me I have a new voicemail. It's going to kill my battery.

Voicemail Messages stay on the system for 10 days.  When did you you receive the voicemail?

Did you have missed calls that are tied to the voicemails?

Yes, they both were. I was able to access the old one just not the one I got today.

Maybe the person did not leave a voicemail?

You can try calling them and ask.  If they did leave a voicemail and it is not on the koodo voicemail system then I would suggest contacting koodo

If it's still silent you could send a private message to Koodo via Facebook Messenger or DM via Twitter to ask if there's some VM system issue.
