I can’t register in Koodo because I signed in with Telus accidentally

So I didn’t know Koodo had an “app” so when I search up on App Store it gave me Telus, so I thought maybe it’s connected or something. So I signed up with my email and all but I couldn’t put my account number. So then I found out Koodo does have an app but on google so when I tried signing up it said I was already link to an email. So I’ve been trying to figure out how to delete the account I’ve created on Telus and go on Koodo. The thing is that I haven’t received an email from Telus that said to confirm that I was trying to sign on an other site. I need serious help!! I don’t know how to delete the account on Telus or to remove it when it isn’t even completed, because it isn’t letting me put my account number. So one again how do I remove my Telus account or confirm it so that I can finally be able to go on Koodo?

Koodo does not have an app and has not had one for several months now. All interactions with self serve are done directly through their website.

With that said, signing up with Telus self serve should have no bearing whatsoever on the ability to sign in to koodo self serve. They are two totally separate sign in systems. Even logins for koodo prepaid and koodo monthly are totally separate. When you signed up with Koodo you would have provided an email address. This email would have been used you start the process of signing up for self serve. If there was an error entering this email that would prevent you from signing up with the correct one. You'll need to either call koodo or send them a private message via facebook so they can sort out the self serve issue.
But it says that my account already has an email that link to my account number which I can’t find because I haven’t signed in anything yet. But I’m also sharing/link to my dads account, so I’m wondering if that may be that email they’re talking about? That I’m link to his but to created my own I need to sign into his email first?

At this point, you need to contact Koodo to clear up your account sign in.

Sending them a private message via facebook or twitter would be your easiest option.  There is nothing we can do for you here since it needs to be fixed on Koodo's system
