Okay, so my Moto G can't receive pictures. The download option doesn't even come up. It's like the picture my friends send me don't send or even get received from my end. The weird part is I can still send pictures. I'm using hangouts as my default messaging app. so I thought maybe if i switch to the "messaging" app. You know, the one with a smiling face. But still no luck. So I tried to restart my phone and no luck. I've had three friends try and send me pictures. Anyone got any idea of why my phone isn't working?

Hey Andriy, do you send your pics over wifi by any chance? It seems strange that you are able to send pics but not receive them... Just in case you didn't know, data is required to send/receive MMS.

Yeah. My data is turned on, and even if it wasn't I would still receive that message telling me that I have to download or it will expire(or something to that effect). So yeah data, wi-fi are both turned on, but those text don't go threw. I first thought maybe because my friend has an iPhone but my girlfriend has a blackberry and hers don't go threw either. So then I got my other friend with a Samsung to try and that didn't go threw either.

Hey Andriy,

You’ll have to make sure you have the right setting for the picture messages. From your phone go to:

-Mobile Network
-Acces points names
-And enter the following info: MMSC: http://aliasredirect.net/proxy/mb/mmsc

This should help.
