I bought a new cell phone 5 months and it stopped working. What do I do?

It's an LG cell and I just paid on my bill couple days ago. The cell  went while using it and it melted my cell case. I tried to power it up but no way will it work.  have no idea what's going with I and what to do .

Hi Ruby if it melted the case then stop using it immediately and bring it to a Koodo kiosk to have it sent for repair.Back up and clear your info from it first.
If it's within the warranty period it may be covered, 5 month old would be covered if it's due to manufacturing errors.

I can't use it it at all to do all that because it won't power on.

You can try plugging it into your computer and see if your computer recognizes it.
Also try holding the volume down and power buttons for about 30-60 seconds and see if the phone powers on.

If it melted the case, I wouldnt risk plugging it into the computer.

All next devices have a 1 year manufacturer warranty; but it doesn't cover physical nor liquid damages. Try to bring it to a Koodo Shop so they can ship it to the repair center if possible.

I only hope my cell is fixable or I am in a mess. I  have a year and seven months left to pay on it before Its all payed up and I just paid my bill and can't use it..

Well as long as it doesn't have physical damage such as marks showing blunt force trauma from something such as being dropped or no water detectors have been enabled within the device then it should be covered
