I am having a similar issue.  On my second month with Koodo, (I have 100MB of data to use) I am now over that and have been charged an extra $5.00 for going over.  I have only sent 2 messages and had 15 minutes of phone use.  At this point I suspect that whenever I was taking a photo it was sent to all my devices automatically.  At this point I turned off my Icloud as to not add to the cost since I still have 8 days to go until the new cycle.  (using an Iphone 5C.

Hi everyone,

Applications running in the background might use cellular data to update their content. You can periodically disable data from the phone settings to prevent a potential unwanted usage. You can also download an application like Opera Max (http://koo.do/1gurwCg) or Onavo Count (http://koo.do/1KiR6H4) to see which apps use the most data.

Hope this helps!

If you see a good answer, give it a star.

Most newer phones you can go in to settings, data usage or mobile and it will give you some type Of graph to show you what is using data on your phone. In that screen you can click the apps using data you don't use and disable the background data so it doesn't use it on data only when you are on Wifi
