HTC One V signal issue

I have an HTC One V. I live in Cornwall Ontario, and my signal is spotty at best. Is this a phone issue or is it a provider issue?

I'm sick of dropped calls due to no signal in my house. My gf is with Telus and she almost always has a full signal.

I understand that many of the companies share towers, so I am hoping it is just my phone.

Koodo = Telus so if you don't have a signal and she does then it's probably your phone.

I just came through Cornwall and I was on the phone on the 401. I've never had an issue there.

Koodo uses the exact same network as telus. It's quite likely that it's your phone. You might try to dial *22803 and follow the propmts. It may help.

Yes. Is that just for the old CDMA network?

Yeah, I think so. I tried it on my BlackBerry and it just disconnects
