I've recently upgraded my blackberry to a Galaxy (which I now love), however I am required to travel north for work which means no service on the galaxy. I've always had service with my blackberry. How do I temporarily switch phones?

I believe you can switch back to your old BlackBerry using self serve switch handset button , just a heads up though, if your current plan isn't BlackBerry specific . You won't have access to anything but the phone feature and possibly wifi. (excluding the new BlackBerry 10 devices (z10, q10, q5)

If the plan you're on now is currently still offered, you should switch to the BlackBerry version of it (don't worry it still works with your Android Galaxy).

If the plan you're on isn't currently offered, if you switch off it, you'll loose it forever and will have to take one of the currently offered plans. If you decide to do this, make sure to get the BlackBerry version of it.

If you think you might do this all the time, I highly recommend always getting the BlackBerry version of whatever plan you want. That way you'll never have to worry.
