How to enable data just for MMS?

I am trying to make use of the MMS, every time i want to use it I have turn on data than turn it off after I am done. Im using at Moto G is there anyway that I can just enable data for MMS temporary, because i dont have data i dont want to have it turned on all the time. If any one can help that would be great thanks.

im sorry but i dont think that solve my problem, i would think that if i use data for mms they can't charge beacuse it part of my plan, also the usage is below a mb anyway. I simply want to just have data enabled for MMS not anything else.

Which is exactly what that might do. Make sure you read and understand all of it. Especially the part where it says it may not work on every phone.

I can confirm that unfortunately, this won't work with the Moto G. I tried it on my own when I gave my Koodo line to my cousin but it just kept the original APNs. There's really no way around this unless you disable all notifications, auto-sync, and apps from using data in the background but something is bound to get through.

Try connecting to Wi-Fi first and then enabling your data to send the picture, then turn data off. Or find an alternative method of sending/receiving photos. You can use Facebook, BBM, WhatsApp, emails, etc. Since all those can use WiFi without data.
