How to disconnect services and cancel account

Need to cancel my account and tried the toll free number but there is no option for disconnect of services?? I am moving away where Koodo does not have service, So how do I cancel? I cannot get to a kiosk either.

Call the number, choose option 5, say you want to cancel.

Rhoda, there is no way of telling how much your bill will come up but you will have to choose from a the current plans Koodo is offering at the time of you getting your plan back. Generally speaking youll be able to pay the same price, but you may loose some features to keep it such a price. (Example: My plan is $30/month with 200min. If I put my account on season hold the only option I would have is $30/month with 100min)

Johnny, There should be a button at the bottom of the email that says unsubscribe. It is funny that you are recieving emails from Koodo if you arent a customer though. Make sure it is an actual email from Koodo before clicking anything on the email first!

@Rhoda : If you mean cancel your service, then your final bill will be included remaining of your Tab and overage charges if any.

@Johnny : If you mean Email notification from this community, then Click your name on top of this page > Profile > Email & Notification > Unchecked notification setting > Save 
I've been trying to cancel my account since February 23 / 2017. I already sent 3 mails to the customer service. My email phone is 604-2783798. Jose Mario Ferreira

call *611 from your Koodo phone or call Koodo at 1-866-995-6636 From any phone and speak with a customer service rep.
Option 5 for customer service :)
Tried all day. Was put on hold to wait for service then hung up on after 5 or more minutes of waiting each time. Koodo sucks. I feel like I'm kidnapped

You can call Koodo any time to cancel your service. They don't need 30 days notice.  
If you call today, your cancellation date is set on the end of your billing cycle. The last day of your billing cycle  is when your service will stop. 
If you port your number to different company, then your cancellation date is the date when  porting is completed.
Either way you will need to call customer service and tell them you want to cancel your service.

Koodo will make it very difficult and aggravating to cancel. I am in hour two, 2 different calls and reps spoken to who promised they would email me cancellation confirmation. Neither rep sent any email a day later. Koodo will ignore your requests to cancel so it is best to call your credit card co. Or bank to stop auto pay to Koodo. They are a very dishonest company who's reps play games when a customer is trying to cancel. I am still trying to cancel. In the meantime have started a new account with Wind mobile, better prices, great coverage, and no games!

The easiest way to cancel is to port out to another supplier, such as Wind, since its a very cut-and-dried procedure when one carrier contacts another.

Koodo is actually one of the least complicated suppliers to settle, because there's no remnant of x number of months left on a contract or other cancellation fees. Pay for the phone and you are done.

If you are one of the sailboats that works with the Wind in your area then good for you. Inquiring here first might have been a better bet and saved you a lot of unnecessary phone calls.

They changed those options.
now, you can reach them by option 4 for anything else > then press 0

Right-- and they immediately indicate a waiting time of 1 hour.   I will cut them off and change providers for my other account if they can't do better than that.
