I would like to buy an unlocked iPhone and use Koodo as a service provider with one of their plans, but I was wondering how old you have to be to pay for a plan, when your phone is already paid(no-tab).

The age of majority in the province you live in and are activating in, which is more than likely 18. You need to sign a legal document for activating postpaid because they run a credit check on you.

It depends on the province, but most of them are 18/19. If you can't do it, then you'll either have to go prepaid or ask your parents to put it under their name for the time being and then you can request a transfer of responsibility once you're eligible.
