It all depends on the tab you use to get said phones. Are you a current customer or looking to become one?

The S3 just dropped to $400 so if you go on a medium tab. $300 would go on the tab balance you would pay $100 in store and you pay $5 on your bill towards the cost of the phone as well as koodo taking the %15 of the bill to match toward the tab. So on the $60 plan $14 per month goes toward paying off the $300.
Your total bill per month would be $65 plus tax ($73.45) providing you don't go over your data or call outside of Canada.

You could go on the large tab and pay nothing up front for the phone but the plans are higher I think the medium tab is the best option.

Or if you have the extra money to put up front go on the small tab (150 on tab $250 up front) and you would not have to pay the $5 tab charge then the bill would just be $60 plus tax

Hope all that makes sense :) welcome in advance to koodo
