How do you change a battery in a HTC One V HSPA

Phone screen has gone black, won't take a charge - community has suggested trying new battery - cannot figure out how to access battery.
Phone purchased June 2012

Battery is hard wired - which means that the battery is connected to the phone (like an iphone) so there is no way to take the battery out.

You can take the back off, but you cannot take the battery out or replace it.

If the phone was bought in 2012 then the 1 yr warranty has expired.

You may want to look into getting another one, check and see how much your tab is at so that you can see about getting a new phone

If you do go with a new phone definitely check out the Moto G that Koodo carries its a excellent devices especially for the price as it can be had for $0 on the tab. Koodo is also going to b we carrying the Nokia 635 soon which is another great low priced device that sits on a whole other level from other devices in the price range
