This may work for you if you use GMail and have a Mac computer...

If you have a Google account associated with your phone and use GMail, then your contacts are likely to be synched with Google and already available within GMail.

If so, then you can synchronize all your contacts on Google with the Address Book app on your Mac computer (see Preferences > Accounts > Synchronize with Google). Once the Address Book is synched with your Google account, you can then connect your iPhone to your Mac computer and within iTunes, you can synch your Address Book contacts with your iPhone.

Actually you can use your gmail contacts directly with the iPhone
Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars >Add Account > Google
Enter your info
Turn ON the Contacts option
Now you can go into your Contacts to sync and your gmail address book will be in your iphone.

For Pre-iOS 7
Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Add Account > Other > Add CardDAV Account

Gmail is the best way to keep your contacts on both devices

Grab your laptop. Plug the usb cable into your old phone and transfer what you need to your laptop. (Media only)

Then, sync your itunes and plug your iphone.

** Contacts can only be sync via Google?
From your samsung go to contacts > Menu > Export/import > Export all to Gmail or any other way you might get available.

Then from your iphone just sync it by setting up your gmail account.
