how do i tether my CDMA blackberry to my ipad?

I have a blackberry 8370 I think it is...and CDMA here in Thunder Bay. question: how do I set up tethering on my ipad and laptop? question 2: i have the 2.5 gb pay as you go plan and i want to know if this tethering thing will burn up a lot of that quickly. i want to use it when we are at the cottage. please help, fellow Koodoo-ites? I'm a senior and am in frustration-ville. :)

Are you sure it's not a 9370? If you can double check which model it is, I can advise how you can go about this...

2.5 GB is enough for some decent light tethering, if you're considering tethering as your daily "go to" internet source though, it's certainly not going to be enough...

With the koodo app you can monitor your usage.

If its the 9370 it supports OS 7.1........which means wifi hotspot....

That makes things a little more tricky. You can't use hotspot and because you want to tether an ipad, you can't really use desktop manager, so you don't have a 'native' solution. You'd have to tether via bluetooth. Their is an app called "Tether" that I believe can do this for you, check it out here: http://tether.com. Should be in app world.
