Hey guys, I have this issue at hand here. I have this micro sim that works and is detected by my phone and my brother has his own microsim card as well with the same carrier (koodo) for the ihpone 4. Now, the problem is that his microsim isn't detected on my android phone, but it is detected with his iphone 4..Does he need a new sim card?

What phone do you have Raymond? Either way, since his micro sim is detected by his own phone he should be fine. Did you insert the sim the correct way with your android phone?

International S3 i9300. It detects my microsim, but not his for some reason and it is inserted correctly for sure. Tried countless times and we're both on Koodo.

hmmm that's odd maybe try blowing the ports. I wouldn't worry about it since his sim works in his iphone. However if you do need a new sim, they're $10 on postpaid or $20 on prepaid. You can register new sims in selfserve>mobile phone>change mobile phone.

i FIGURED IT OUT! It seems that there was an APN issue going on so I ended up changing some values and it finally recognized his sim.
