How can I Transfer contacts to new phone?
I purchased a galaxy ace but need to transfer my contact over from my old phone. There are no Koodo stores near by to take it to. Is there any way to do it through my own computer?

Is your old phone an Android? If so, your contacts might have been saved to your Google account.

If it was an Android but they weren't saved as Google Contacts, put your SIM back into that older phone and then save your contacts as Google contacts and they'll be there when you syn in on your new Galaxy Ace.

If there was a Koodo near you they could do it using your SIM's, since there isn't, you'll have to enter them manually. However, you can do it easily over the PC.

1) Navigate on your PC's browser to "contacts.Google.com"
2) Sign in with your @GMail.com account
3) manually enter all your contacts & their info
4) Click "Save"
5) Sync with your device Settings --> Accounts & sync --> tap your @GMail.com account --> tap "Contacts"

In a few moments all the contacts you entered on the PC will appear in your phone.

After getting absolutely nowhere with Koodo tech support(told me there was no way to do it) I managed to get the contacts transferred over by bluetooth.

I love bluetooth for that very reason, it saves the day a lot of the time. It's awesome that you solved this yoursel jkoldewijn! Good job!
