You can not suspend services for free unless you want to cancel your account. The only option to "suspend" and keep your number and plan is to switch to a seasonal hold for $15/month.

Suspending your account is a plan change. If your current plan is no longer available when you decide to reactivate your phone, you'll need to change to an available plan at that time. Suspending your account does not guarantee your plan will be available...just yiur service and phone number.

Hey Livia!  I found an account linked to your email address and it seems like your account is already cancelled.

I you would like to discuss further about the cancellation and the possibility of resuming your service, we invite you to contact us on Facebook or Twitter through private messaging.

Thank you!

You will need to contact Koodo, Samar. You can do so by calling 611 or by using Facebook private message (probably faster).
Your wife will have to pick an in market plan when she comes back, so if she is on a great grandfathered plan, it might be best to just keep this one :)
