how to enable roaming in the states?

hi....i have a samsung ace galaxy smart phone with koodo and i need to turn on roaming for travelling in the u.s......back a while ago koodo took me through some steps to disable roaming in the u.s......any idea how to turn this back on?

Hi Kim,

In order to enable roaming on your phone you need to do the following (depending on which version of Android your phone is running):

Select Settings - More... - then select the Data roaming check box (if it is disabled it should be unchecked) - once that is done, click on Network Operators and select one of the networks available.

If this didn't work then try selecting Settings then click on Wireless & Networks then Data roaming should be unchecked, click on it to enable the feature then click on Network Operators and select one of the options available to connect to. Keep in mind that once you have data turned on while roaming you will be charged a roaming rate of $5/20 MB.
