Hi Matt,

You wouldn't be able to switch the code from the computer but if you had Android Device Manager set up on your phone you can log into it on your computer and remotely lock the device from your computer, but this is only if you have it set up on your phone first. Go onto Google and type in Android Device Manager and log into it with your Google account account and if it is set up it should be able to locate the phone and you can either remotely lock it or erase the phone as well.

Hope that helps :)

In this case technical support cannot access a persons phone from their computer to change a lock code to access the device. If someone has set a personal lock code on their own, tech support will not be able to do anything. Matt needs to try checking the Android Device Manager and see if he can lock it from his computer until he is able to get the device returned to him. If not he will need to get the device back from his friend.

Hi there, you could also suspend the service. This person can still enter into the phone but will not be able to use it (calls, texting and data would be blocked). You can suspend the phone via Self Serve or by calling us at 1-866-995-6636, #5. Hope you'll get back your phone soon!

If you see a good answer, give it a star.
