How to cancel my plan / contact customer service

I need to cancel my plan with Koodo as I n live in the country. I went to a kiosk to do it but they said I had to call customer service. I asked them to connect me to customer service but they refused. I them called customer service myself and waited for 2 hours and 5 minutes for someone to answer the phone. Then I got an automated message saying that 'Due to unforseen circumstances we can't come to the phone right now.' message. I am beyond annoyed. Any tips on how to actually get any customer service from this company?

Unfortunately you have to call. You can try sending them a message via facebook and let them know the error your received when you tried calling.
If you're switching providers you can port your phone number to the new provider and your Koodo account will automatically cancel as well.

That's correct. The system won't keep you on hold for much longer past 2 hours.
