How long does it take a phone to ship?

I ordered the LG G6 three days ago, and I haven't heard anything from Koodo since then. I understand that it takes time for the phone to get to me, and I don't mind waiting. My current phone is still fine until it gets here. The radio silence I've gotten since my order is bothering me, though. I got one email, right away, saying that I would receive another email once my order is approved. Three days later, still no new information on the status of my order. My credit card has been charged and I've been given a new tab, but I haven't been given any information on my order at all.

How long does this usually take? Is the complete radio silence normal for Koodo? And if it is, Koodo, you need to work on a new system to allow customers to stay informed! People don't like making major purchases, and then going an indeterminate amount of time with no information on said major purchases. Even a simple tracking page that says what stage my order is in would be fine. Is it being processed? Is it approved? Is it awaiting shipment? It gives me anxiety knowing that my money is gone and my tab is increased, and I have no idea what stage my order is in.

Hi Kassian, usually it takes between 3-7 days for the phone to be shipped out and sometime emails aren't sent for whatever reason which seems to be an issue as of late that I'll bring to their attention. You can contact the webstore with your order number and they can tell you where they're at with processing your phone.

Also check your spam folder of your email it may have been misdirected there depending how your email filters are set.

Any word on whether or not they're going to be doing something to change this email thing? It's frustrating spending money on a new phone, especially when it's such a huge purchase for someone like me(single mom, superbly tight budget), and have no idea what's going on past, "I've been charged..." 
If emails aren't being sent out at ALL, that's a huge concern for me. Koodo is a giant business, there is NO reason for that to be happening.

You should receive an email as soon as your purchase the device and then get one once the device has been shipped.

Yes, thank you, I'm aware of that. That's not where my issue lies. The poster I replied to above my comment stated that Koodo has had issues where the secondary email IS NOT BEING SENT OUT. THAT is where my concern is. Not to mention, there needs to be a system put into place where customers can view the status of their order pre-shipment email, because this "oop nobody knows til it's shipped" bologna is ridiculous, especially for a big business like Koodo, and yet all that's happened(since I see this has been a concern for customers for at least four years) is Koodo waves a hand and says this is not any cause for concern and nothing has been changed.

Thank you, for being the only useful and helpful person thus far. It's pathetic that Koodo cares less about it's customers and their issues with Koodo than other customers do. I'll give the order number as tracking number thing a shot, for sure, thank you again for the heads up that I may not get any notice whatsoever! I'll have to keep a sharp eye on my mailbox and hope that Canada Post actually does attempt delivery, as that's about as much of a joke as Koodo's customer service.

(EDIT: I'm an idiot, I can't figure out how to change up this HFO order number to enter it into the tracker, but it must be doable since I can see from your screenshot that you put in the same type of order number I did. Any tips?)

You're amazing, you're an angel!!! Thank you again for all of your help! Turns out it has been sent and should be delivered tomorrow. Now I get to figure out how to bitch at Koodo for a complete and total stranger and fellow customer helping me find my phone while they did absolutely shit all.

I ordered a new phone 10 days ago, and haven't heard anything from Koodo since the first email stating once approved I would receive another email with tracking info.  10 days!!!  What is going on?

What phone did you order? Normally you will get an email with shipping info once the phone has shipped if all is good with the order..
