They run on the exact same towers as Bell and Telus so if you think they're good then you'll be happy with Koodo.

I think that Koodo (Telus / Bell networks) are extremely good. There's very few places that other carriers would be objectively better for coverage. At the end of the day you would have to try for yourself in the places you are. You can let us know the locations or ask around with people you know to see how they think the coverage is.

It's very good as it's run off Telus/Bell towers. I can only speak for how it is in BC. The only other provider that has its own towers is Rogers(and its flanker brands). Nowhere near as good as Telus coverage. Rogers lets you roam for free(EXT coverage) when you're out of their coverage area but dont use the EXT coverage too much or they will cut you off.

If you are in Eastern Canada, Telus and Bell share towers so there is no issue with EXT roaming as a Koodo customer.

FWIW, EXT roaming is using another carrier's network in Canada, mandated by the CRTC at no extra charge to the post-paid customer. If you are a Rogers subscriber in an area where there are no Rogers towers, you automatically jump onto another available network (Bell/Telus) at no charge. Same principle applies in reverse. The only hiccup is that your main supplier must offer service in the area where you are subscribing, and you must be using their home network a majority of the time. So there's supposed to be no signing up with SaskTel and then moving to the maritimes permanently just to enjoy a cheaper rate.

That's not hard to do! Freedom is mostly in big cities.
