I'm moving to an area that doesn't have Koodo coverage and need to switch providers. My new billing cycle just started and I'm wondering if the bill will be for the whole month or if it will be adjusted to include only the days before I port my number to the new provider? I don't have a tab.

That answer is out of date because of the Wireless Code of Conduct. As she doesn't have a tab, she can't be under the "old rules". Cancellation is immediate and she will be billed only for the airtime/data used.

I'd also like to add.

From my experience in dealing with customers relocating to a 'no coverage' area, you may, have some leverage in cancelling.

This has typically been on a case by case basis and isn't always fact.

Give the Customer Service team a call, they'll be able to lay out the charges for you.

Hope this helped!

This pertains to canceling a contract without penalty. She says that she's doesn't have a tab balance so she's good.

I didn't even notice that part of the question. Thanks!
