How do I msg using Gmail to my friends Messages?

I've been trying ##########@msg.koodomobile.com and ##########@msg.telus.com and it sends but she says it's confusing because rather than a normal txt it says I send it to 2 people which shows her phone number and the other person is her phone number but with the @msg.koodomobile.com. So it's like a group chat but I'm wondering if there's a way to prevent that so it looks like a normal txt and not with 2 addresses of the same person?

Use the G Mail App on your phone and send and receive emails through that. I you can download it from the app store

Both of you get a G Mail Account and you won't have any issues, don't use that MSG Koodo. Com at all

Weird.  I just tested it on my koodo phone number and it works as it should with the phone#@msg.koodomobile.com email address.  The message arrives in my texting app to my phone number, from an email.

Maybe your friend needs to delete the conversation on her text app and it will solve the issue?

This could be a gmail thing. How do you send, from the gmail webmail interface, or through an App?

EDIT: I get only one message when sending from gmail web interface, or an app.
