How do I find out if I am able to get a tab?

I want a new phone and am interested in putting it on a plan as well. I am currently a pre-paid customer with Koodo. But the last time I looked into doing this I was told that I am not eligible to get the tab. How can I figure out if I can become tab worthy again? Or what can I do to help fix this problem?

In order to be eligible for the tab you mustbe able to pass a credit check. You can go to your nearest Koodo store and ask them if you are eligible.

You can find the iPhone 7 Plus here. All tabs come on a 2-year term.

I have done that and my credit check was all good, but I was still told I was not eligible for the tab still.

Did they mention why you weren't eligible?

HeyDavis!
Depending on the score that you get after thecredit check, your eligibility may vary.

However, with on time payments for a number ofmonths in a row, your eligibility will evolve and you’ll eventually be able toqualify for any offer we may have!

If your credit rating does not permit you to take a phone on a tab, you may still be able to switch to post-paid, but you may be required to pay the tab upfront. I don't think pre-paid helps with your credit rating any (it couldn't, as there's no ID verification for prepaid).

Best thing you can do to fix this problem is to go on post-paid, even if you have to pay the tab upfront. That way you'll build up your credit rating.

Other awesome ways of building your credit rating is by maintaining a credit card (and never go behind on payments), pay off a car loan, etc.
