How do I drop phone insurance and change to a new plan?

I am from Ontario.  My 2 year plan has finished and my phone is now paid off. I would like to drop the tab charges and switch to one of the newer plans that has the bonus data. I would also like to drop the phone insurance.  I need some direction in how to do this.

The tab should automatically drop once you get to zero. I might be wrong but I believe cancelling a phone warranty requires contacting Koodo. I'd send off a private message to Koodo on Facebook to get it done.

I believe the warranty period is also only for 24 months, so it should drop off as well.

Hey Steve,

Your Koodo Tab Charge and Koodo Phone Protection will automatically drop after 24 months. If you want to change your rate plan, you can do it by going to your Self-Serve (koodomobile.com/selfserve). If you call in to change your plan there will be a $10 fee and if you go to a Koodo Shop they cannot change your rate plan unless you upgrade your phone.
