How do I change my first name for my account I don't go by my legal name?

Hi DeShawn,

Your account has to be under your legal name. You can't use a pseudo-name.

Well it is my legal name actually it's not a fake name it's on my BIRTH certificate it's just not on my photo id yet

Hey Jim! Photo ID is required at the Koodo kiosk so that we can make sure who we are selling the phone to.  Furthermore, the name on the account must be the legal name of the person who activated the account.  We suggest going back to the store with your ID and at that point our reps could contact their support team for further assistance if needed.  You can also order the phone online http://koo.do/1GgRxzH through your self-serve account. Yup! If the new phone uses the same SIM type, you can use your current SIM and pop it in your phone phone.  If it uses a different SIM, a quick call to our customer service team can make the switch for you :)

This was my husbands account, he is now deceased so I only need to change first name, I have been all over this web site it doesn't seem to be user friendly and found a lot of nothing

Wendy, my condolences on the passing of your husband. You will definitely need to contact Koodo directly to determine how you can transfer the account to you, as it is not at all the same as a name change. I suggest the phone wait might be shorter after the weekend.
