i just posted a question about how to change from my current plan to putting the phone on a seasonal hold and adding a text 30 ALL during the same transaction. Have no idea how to get to my question or any replies that may have been made. With the old menu format you could pick more than one option at a time. I cant see where you can do that now.

If you put your plan on the seasonal hold, your service will be temporally suspended. So you can't add any add-on service while your account is on the seasonal hold.

People use the seasonal hold because they will be out of country for awhile and don't want to pay full plan price for not using Koodo service.  You can keep your phone number, but you can't keep your current plan because seasonal hold count as plan change. So you will need to pick in market plan when you came back.

oh...  someone gave a different answer to this question a few days ago when I asked. it.  I asked whether you could do the seasonal hold and a US roaming package at the same time.  I was told then that you could.

So, what happens when someone calls you and your account is on seasonal hold?

I believe if someone call you while it suspended, auto message will play something like "customer you try to reach is not available. try call again"
Text also not delivered if its suspended.

well, that's no good.  You're better porting-out your number for a month to a VOIP provider.  That way you can at least get voicemail and SMSs while you're gone.  Plus, you can forward your calls, too, if you did that.

I agree. I don't want to pay $15 just to keep my phone number.
I would port out my number If I can give up my current plan which is grandfathered plan and I don't want to lose it.
It would be nice if Koodo  let you get back to your current plan after the seasonal hold(it's been suggested )

This is kind of a problem with this forum.  You can't be sure if you're getting the right answer if you're asking a bunch of keeners who might not know the answer :)  (myself included)
