How come we can't activate SIM cards in Self-Serve?

Seems it's disabled now... I ain't paying 10$ to activate a SIM on the phone with an agent. A guy at Geek Squad sold it to be for 15$ never warned be that this fonction has been disabled.

Yeah it's quite annoying but the service was removed for security purposes. You can send Koodo a private message to their FB page or Twitter account where they can verify your account and do the swap free of charge. It will take some time for them to respond with the backup of unlock requests and higher than normal level of other inquiries.

Which plan are you on? prepaid or postpaid (monthly)? What did you try to do? changed the SIM or activated a new line?
