How come the data block isnt staying on month to month?

I had a data block put on last month and once my billing cycle rolled over the data block is gone, i asked for it to always be on once your out of data it should turn off. And i just checked my bill and there is new charges and none were excepted. Do i have to call every month to make sure the data block is on?

By data block do you mean the Shock Free data? Data block is an add-on that completely blocks your data. The shock free pauses your data once you have reached your limit.
Login to self serve, click "View Usage", under data click "Change data alerts", do you have the box checked off as shown below and have it so that a text is sent at 100%?

Yes and called last month so once data was reached there is no option to add more data till the bill roll over date and there is additional charges.
