How can Koodo already be busy if you call right when they open? I just want to cancel my plan because I am leaving Canada

Please! I just want to cancel my service with Koodo because I am leaving the country. I have been calling non-stop since Saturday. I sent a message on Facebook on Saturday but nobody replied yet. How can this be so difficult? It feels like I am intentionally stalled so I am forced to pay for January as well.

What should I do?

You aren't forced to pay entire months. You can pay only for the days it took. Koodo is overwhelmed with requests for the 10gb promo ongoing right now. Your best bet until after the 19th is to call right when they open and still expect 60-90 minute wait times. You can also send a private message to Koodo via Facebook Messenger or DM via Twitter once you're out of country as that's acceptable if you're already gone.

Thank you for your help. I do not understand how this can be so difficult. I talked to two different Koodoo reps on the phone after hours of waiting who told me they would connect me to the Cancellation department. Then I got disconnected. I never had such a bad experience with the customer service of a company before. I am not asking for anything complicated, I just want to cancel my plan.

I don't know why you're getting disconnected on a transfer to cancellation. I cannot imagine them being swamped like retentions.

Again though you can't get stalled into paying for another full month. If you send a private message to Koodo via Facebook Messenger or DM via Twitter you should be contacted shortly after the 19th.
