As long as its been less than 90 days since you last used the sim card, you can change sim cards by logging into self-serve under phone.

May I ask why you need to do this and what you're trying to accomplish? There may be a simpler solution.

Because I bought an iphone6 and I want to use my same number I am using in my nokia lumia520 so i bought a nano sim to transfer my phone number but after I do that in my prepaid account, it didnt work because the iphone is still unlocked. And tried to put that nano sim to my friend's unlocked phone but still its invalid sim. I cant be contacted right now because both sim cards are invalid... So i want to use again my micro sim with my nokia lumia520. I cant figure it out how to re-use it again.. Thank you

The sim you bought is a prepaid sim? It cost you 20$?

If you put it in your iPhone, did you resync your phone with iTunes? Where did you get your iPhone?

Prepaid SIMs can't be reused like postpaid ones, if I recall correctly. I think you need to buy a new one and then activate it (comes with a $20 credit).

Also, so you won't have this issue again, you should buy your iPhone from Telus. It will work with Koodo without needing to unlock it.

But why is it the nano sim i replaced cant be accepted after I changed sim number under my account? What else do I need to do? Because i tried to insert it in Samsung S5 but still invalid, that phone is already unlocked.

Hi Anna,

It could be a faulty SIM card, I received one once as well. You should definitely go back to the store and ask for it to be exchanged for one that works... at least that is my best guess for now.
If the store is willing, you could even activate it there and ask them to test it in one of their phones. Sorry it happened to you :(

I could be wrong Anna but it sounds the most plausible explanation for now... you could call Koodo tomorrow and see if the Rep can see if it can be activated: 1-866-99-KOODO (1-866-995-6636).

Hope you get it sorted soon :)
