The home phone offer is $10 per month and that expires on Feb 26th. Does the monthly charge increase after a certain period of time or is it locked in at $10?

It is $10/month plus tax and 911 fees, etc. Then on the 13th month it goes to the normal price of $20/month!

1. Taxes and pay-per-use services (such as long distance, roaming and additional airtime or data) are extra. Plus applicable provincial or municipal government 911 fees in Nova Scotia (43¢), PEI (70¢), New Brunswick (53¢), Quebec (46¢), Alberta (44¢), Saskatchewan (62¢), and Newfoundland and Labrador (75¢). New activations on Wireless Home Phone from Koodo only. Regular pricing (currently $20/mo.) applies at month 13.

Just got the $10 deal. The rep stressed a couple of times that the deal does NOT expire, unless you change plans later.

Hi Alan, where did you get this info? .."Then on the 13th month it goes to the normal price of $20/month!"...I couldn't find it anywhere on koodomobile.com.

Hey Koodo: When is the home phone coming to BC?

It will not likely come to areas with Telus landline services available. It appears an incentive to draw users away from competitors tote Telus family of companies. Telus has it available within their wireline footprint area, but not outside.

Hmmm. But Koodo is a Telus family company. If they Koodo doesn't keep up and offer it then I would think that Koodo wireless customers may jump to other companies. Just musing...

The nitty gritty I am reading does not mention the last line in your clause above regarding the increase on the 13th month. Does this mean I'd lock in at $10, indefinitely?

Perhaps you should update your post referencing the 13th month, Alan. It may help stop unnecessary questions and confusion.

I cant personally update it as it gets locked in after someone comments. If you read the whole thread though you can see the conversation between me and Ranjan who confirms the website has wrong information.

It depends on the promo you got. The first promo, the $5 one, is valid for one year. the current $10 is valid for the duration of the plan.
