Home Phone Line

Received an email today regarding Koodo new home phone line @ 5$ per month for 12 months. Did anyone try this land line thing. It is good, is there a catch? How is the reception? From the look of it, it looks like a very good deal - no long distances charge, voicemail, ID, etc.  I'm sceptic!

Very good if you get good signal with Koodo in your home. No catch. Canada wide calling. You can get Add ons for international if you need it. It's a great service. Search this forum for home phone and there is a whole thread on this topic.

A few of us mobile masters have them and haven't had much issues with them if any at all.

I have great Koodo signal at home, my cell works very very well in my house. This seem much more interesting than having my phone with Videotron, despite the discount I get on my internet bill!

How can I get the device to actually go ahead? To I have to go to a Kood kiosque?

Yes a Koodo kiosk will have it.  As will a Telus/Koodo dealer

Next time please create a new thread so we dont revive old ones that have been answered but yes, all phones should work except for rotary phones.

Depending on the alarm system it may, or may not work.
