Is therea roaming fee for the home phone hub? If so what is the fee? My cell phone plan has no charge for roaming. Hopefully the home hub has no roaming fees.

Hi Tom, there is absolutely no roaming on the home phone line, so no worries about extra fees :) There are costs involved if you call internationally though.

For $40 & $10 for a sim, it's worth trying it instead of paying hundreds to bell

Oh gosh yes, you have no idea what a great feeling it was when we finally saw our landline bill reduced by about $40-$50 (we paid extra for so many things like call features, LD calls, etc.........) :D

The nice thing about the wireless home phone is that you can place the hub in the one spot in the house where you get the strongest signal and not have to worry about losing the signal as you move around with the phone.

Also, if you are using a cellphone with LTE services, it reports fewer bars than does the Home Phone device. Even within a few hundred metres of the tower, my iPhone indicates three bars.

The hub will likely have better signal strength than most cell phones on account of having much more power available and being dedicated to just phone call connections. Worst case you return it if it doesn't work. I would say it's worth trying it out.
