hi there....i recently purchased a new phone with koodo and have inserted the simcard and turned on the phone only to find i have no signal what so ever is there a activation process that i have to do?

The SIM Card may not be activated. Are you prepaid or postpaid? Prepaid you definitely have to activate it as the instructions included.

Have you tried restarting your phone?
Postpaid or prepaid (and if prepaid have you activated the sim card yet)?
